Our Story
The London Vet was founded in 2019 with a clear purpose: to create the kind of veterinary practice that pets, their owners, and its team truly deserve.
The practice was established by veterinary surgeon Dr Victoria Hogg, a local Wandsworth resident and lifelong pet owner. After nearly two decades caring for animals across Battersea, Wandsworth, Chelsea and Fulham, she knew exactly what she wanted a veterinary practice to be, shaped not only by what mattered most to her clients, but also by what she felt personally was right for the animals in her care. From the outset, her vision was simple: to build a practice grounded in putting pets and people first.
We are a truly independent, single-site, award-winning veterinary practice serving South West London, with no corporate association and no venture capital backing. By focusing on one clinic and one community, we are able to do what matters most: give every pet the time, attention and continuity they deserve.
That independence shapes how we work every day. Exceptional care, to us, includes having the time to listen properly, the experience to make the right decisions, and the compassion to treat every pet as an individual. It’s why we offer longer appointments, continuity of care, and a team supported to do their best work - without targets, quotas or pressure to rush.
Just as importantly, Victoria set out to build a practice where both patients and team members feel valued, supported and respected - where competence, trust and compassion are lived every day, not simply written down.
